Research Theme

My research interest includes exploring wireless sensing and communication with a very high spatio-temporal resolution enabled by  electromagnetic waves that expand from the microwaves (GHz), terahertz (THz) up to the optical regime (several hundred THz).   The research is performed with an emphasis on novel structures as well as signal processing techniques. Other physical waves  such as ultrasounds also lie within the interest.  The general goal of the research is to capture information that is elusive for any conventional sensors including the human sensory,  and explore novel applications.
